HD soon coming to iPlayer

The BBC's iPlayer will soon be offering high definition content. This will provide better quality streams to your web browser and a great picture for those that download their programmes. Initially Doctor Who, Kerwhizz, and Dragons' Den will be available. Anthony Rose, the head of digital media technology at the BBC, said "Introducing HD streams users to enjoy BBC programmes in HD without a set-top box,".
